Terms of use
Last updated: June 17, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Typique, the service operated by Cartable Solutions SAS. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Typique is an online tool that estimates the probability that a submitted text or document was generated by artificial intelligence, and returns a report. Analyses are paid for using credits (one credit per analysis). The sale of credits is governed by our Terms of sale.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 15 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity carried out under your account. One account is intended for a single user; accounts may not be shared.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit content that you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes the rights of others (including intellectual property or privacy rights);
- submit unlawful, harmful or offensive content, or content containing personal data of third parties without a proper basis;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the Service or its security or usage limits;
- use automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted, or resell access to the Service without our authorisation;
- use the Service to act dishonestly or to deceive others.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for the use you make of the analysis results.
4. Credits
Running an analysis requires credits. New accounts may receive a number of complimentary credits, and additional credits may be purchased. The cost of each action and the available credit packs are described in the Service and in our Terms of sale. Credits have no monetary value outside the Service and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Nature and accuracy of results
The Service provides an automated, probabilistic estimate. AI detection is inherently imperfect: results may include false positives and false negatives and must not be treated as proof or as a definitive conclusion. You should exercise your own judgement and not take any consequential decision (academic, professional, disciplinary or otherwise) based solely on a result produced by the Service. Cartable Solutions SAS accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of the results.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, trademarks and content are owned by Cartable Solutions SAS or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any right over them other than the right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
7. Your content
You retain all rights in the content you submit. You grant Cartable Solutions SAS a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (including transmitting the extracted text to our analysis processor). We handle your content as described in our Privacy policy.
8. Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service, in particular for maintenance, security or technical reasons.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cartable Solutions SAS shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the statutory rights of consumers.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. The handling of credits and any refund in such cases is governed by our Terms of sale and by applicable law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. In the event of a dispute, you may contact us first at contact@typique.net so that we can seek an amicable solution.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@typique.net.
